Dissemination is distribution of information and interventions of the change proposal to a specific public health or clinical practice audience. The main purpose is to spread knowledge and the associated evidence-based interventions to improve health care delivery system (AHRQ, 2012).
I would choose the journal of American Nures Association (ANA). The project of the telemedicine consultation provides better health care access to the rural population. ANA has developed the core principles through interdisciplinary work group in guiding health care professionals in policy development in the telehealth arena (ANA Professional Panel, 2019). ANA recognize that health care services via connected technologies should adhere to the best evidence emerging from multi-disciplinary standard of care.
Covid-19 has expedited the uptake of telemedicine across various specialties. There is a rapid move by various bodies, associations, and providers to use telemedicine in maintaining the continuity of care while limiting covid-19 risk of exposure (Adisesh A, Banach M & Ray D, 2020). I would take the opportunity to present the proposal change in the American Telehealth Association Conference which is focused on value-based care. This is the best platform to incorporate innovative ideas and changes to improve health disparity in rural population.
